From the Book of Ezra

I have been reading the book of Ezra for about the last week and here are some of my initial thoughts:

• It's amazing that God is still stirring in the hearts of leaders today!  My prayer is that He continues and shows up big!!! -1.1
• People are very important to God...if it weren't so why would he want us to know so many names of the families of the people of the citizens of the people of the gatekeepers of the singers of....WOW!  -2.3-57
• I really like the name Zaccai!  Gotta find out what it means. -2.9
• I love that the people assembled with a unified purpose!  I would love to see churches today do this! -3.1
• I really like that God's people waisted no time rebuilding the temple and everyone, catch that?  EVERYONE helped! -3
• Discouragement and frustration and even intimidation may come along, but we must continue doing what GOD has commanded us to do! -4.4
