Where Ya Been?

Well, I know it's been awhile and the question has arose.  Where have you been?

Simple...taking a break.  Cyndi and I took a quick trip up to Gatlinburg, TN this past week.  Why in the world would we do that?  Well, besides the fact that I love going to the Mountains!  I really seem to connect deeper with God when I am in the mountains, but that wasn't the main reason.

I have family from Tennessee (specifically Dayton) and mostly from Indiana and so Gatlinburg is a bit of a central, half way, point for all of us to meet.  And so my parents, my brother and sister, my favorite cousins, my aunt, my cousins' cousin, and Cyndi and I had a mini family reunion.

It was an incredible time!  We laughed a lot, stayed up way to late, and ate way too much!  But it was well needed.  I love my family and I just love the fact that they seem to like my bride way more than me :)

So that's where we have been and why its been awhile.  SNAP BACK TO REALITY!

My Heart

Recently, I have had to have some very challenging conversations with some awesome individuals.

And after these conversations, I've come to realize how awesome people are.  Seriously, God has some amazing children that He loves with everything He created!
I've also realized that we (as Believers) have got to do something about reaching this generation.  NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES, we've got to reach this generation.  They are hurting, confused and even scared!

God has great plans and wants each person to fulfill their potential.

Anyway, just a few thoughts for this evening.

Kicked Off with This

Here is the video that we kicked off Jr. High Week with.
